Tia A. Horner, MD is a board-certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist and an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Horner earned her undergraduate degree at Princeton University, and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed her Adult Psychiatry Residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Horner trained with the PACT team in 2012 and re-joined the team in 2019. For over 20 years, her clinical work has focused on children, young adults, and families in a variety of clinical settings, at the MGH and internationally.
She has extensive experience working with families and individuals affected by stress, loss, and other challenges. Prior to re-joining PACT, Dr. Horner was at the MGH Home Base Program where she worked with military children and families impacted by PTSD and other stressors associated with military life.
Dr. Horner enjoys teaching, and she is a valued supervisor and mentor for Psychiatry and Psychology trainees at the MGH.
