Allison White, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in working with youth and families and an Instructor at Harvard Medical School. Allison earned her undergraduate degree and doctorate from Boston College. She has trained in schools and community mental health settings, and she completed her pre- and post-doctoral fellowships at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).
Allison became a staff psychologist at the MGH in 2021 and joined the PACT Program in 2023. After receiving generalist training in working with children and families, Allison also gained specialized experience in working with youth and families facing a variety of significant stressors, including extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. In addition to supporting parents impacted by cancer, Allison treats families impacted by teen and young adult substance use, as well as teens experiencing significant emotional and behavioral dysregulation and their parents. Allison also enjoys supervising trainees at the hospital in family and couples therapy.
