Our Team

Kristin S. Russell, MD, MBA

KR_HeadshotKristin Russell, MD, MBA has been providing care to patients at the MGH since 2007. She spends the majority of her clinical time providing child-focused guidance to parents with cancer as part of the Parenting At a Challenging Time (PACT) program. She is also a faculty member at Harvard Medical School where she publishes and speaks for clinical and lay audiences and teaches medical students, trainees, and other health professionals topics including pediatric psychopharmacology, parent guidance, and the business of behavioral healthcare. 

Dr. Russell has an M.B.A. from MIT/Sloan where she was awarded the Sloan Leadership Fellowship. She co-founded a medical software company which was later acquired by Oracle and has held leadership positions at digital health companies focused on behavioral health. She advises student entrepreneurs seeking to transform access and care delivery for patients with behavioral health issues at several university entrepreneurship programs including MIT and Harvard.

Dr. Russell received her B.A. from Harvard, her M.D. from Columbia, and her M.B.A. from MIT/Sloan. She completed her residency and fellowship training at Harvard Medical School hospitals and is board-certified in both adult and child & adolescent psychiatry.
