Financial Tips
Living with cancer often adds unanticipated financial burdens. There may be additional expenses in medication or treatment costs, expenses associated with travel to medical care sites, or additional childcare as a result of your illness or treatment.
- Don’t put off money matters.
- Figure out what you are spending now.
- Determine what money is coming in and what is going out and to where.
- Use this information to create a budget.
- Highlight money being spent unnecessarily that can easily be redirected for higher priority spending, including extra childcare or fun family activities.
